About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bilingual Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English, and will provide high-quality care while effectively communicating with patients and families in both languages. This role is vital in ensuring culturally competent and patient-centered care for our diverse population. Key Responsibilities: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and feeding. Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff in both English and Spanish. Assist nurses and other clinical staff with patient care and documentation. Monitor patients for changes in condition and report to the nursing staff promptly. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. Translate or interpret basic medical information to ensure understanding and compliance. Comply with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CNA certification in [State].
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
  • Minimum of [6 months/1 year] CNA experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Culturally sensitive with a passion for helping others.
