Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Nebraska.
- Physical ability to perform full-range movement for patient assistance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- Current CPR certification (we can assist) and a negative TB test (we can test).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Home Health and/or Hospice care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care, grooming, and bathing needs, especially for those with limited mobility.
- Provide support during meals, monitor vital signs, and promptly communicate significant observations to the medical team.
- Assist with patient mobility, including transferring between wheelchairs, beds, and other equipment, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Help prevent bedsores by repositioning patients and enhancing their comfort.
- Form meaningful relationships with patients and their families, serving as a vital part of their care journey.
