About The Position

Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the 5 Observation Unit. This position is part-time and will require working night shifts. The CNA will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to children and their families in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a pediatric setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Assist with the transportation of patients within the hospital.
