About The Position

Join Brookdale as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) where you will work with community management to provide personalized care to seniors. Your role will include checking in with residents, assisting with dining and personal care needs, and performing vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy. You will also provide assistance with activities of daily living such as showers, bathroom assistance, and dressing/grooming. This position offers various shifts including day and evening options, with a shift differential for weekend work. Requirements

• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required.
• Must maintain certification as a CNA/STNA.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in assisted living or memory care environments.
• Interest in pursuing further certifications such as Medication Technicians (QMAP) or Home Care Aides.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to seniors in the community.
• Assist residents with dining and personal care needs.
• Perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as showers, bathroom assistance, and dressing/grooming.
• Give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
