About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position at Garden City Healthcare Center involves providing routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with their care plans. Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents according to their care plans.
• Report changes in residents' conditions to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts in an informative manner.
• Ensure residents are comfortable and their personal care needs are met.
• Create and maintain a warm and calm atmosphere throughout the unit.
• Measure and record residents' temperatures, pulses, and respirations as instructed.
• Check residents routinely to ensure their personal care needs are being met.
• Record residents' food and fluid intake and report changes in eating habits.
• Participate in nursing reports upon reporting for duty.
• Cooperate with inter-departmental personnel to maintain adequate nursing services.
• Assist residents with daily functions such as dental care, bathing, and dressing.
• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
