The Certified Nursing Assistant assists Physicians and nursing personnel in providing patient care to a specific patient population. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance and direction of a Licensed Nurse. Key tasks include collecting specimens, running lab tests, performing EKGs, drug screen collection, and breath alcohol tests, as well as performing assigned clerical duties.
