About The Position

Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Pediatric Surgical Float Pool. This position is part-time and requires working night shifts. The CNA will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety during their stay. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the needs of pediatric patients and their families.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Experience working in a pediatric or surgical setting is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a float pool or similar role.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the surgical float pool.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Support the nursing team in preparing patients for surgical procedures.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and families.
