About The Position

As a CMT Lab Technician this individual will be a part of a team working on large infrastructure projects, including tests relating to the future of Nuclear Energy generation. The primary purpose of what we do is public safety. We are looking for individuals who can follow written and verbal instruction (ASTM, AASHTO, Etc.), detail oriented, and have a desire to build a career as a certified lab technician and beyond.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Ability to lift 35lbs.
Clear, legible handwriting
Ability to read digital and dial gauges.
Basic Math and Writing Skills.
Efficient.
Ability to adapt when priority project come up.
Ability to maintain a clean workstation.
Work well with a team.

Nice To Haves

Some lab experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Receiving/Processing samples of various material types.
Performing lab tests according to Consensus Standards provided.
Recording data off of various pieces of equipment and machinery.
Calibration/Verification of equipment.
