About The Position

The CMMS Specialist is responsible for the effective utilization of the Maximo System to ensure efficient maintenance operations and asset management within the plant. This role involves system administration, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing system use, and training personnel in data entry and reporting. The position is crucial for maintaining system accuracy, driving continuous improvement, and supporting customer needs through effective data management and reporting.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree preferred; work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3 or more years of relevant maintenance management experience required.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a data entry role with direct customer-facing experience.
  • Previous experience with CMMS (preferably Maximo) or similar maintenance management systems preferred.
  • Excellent IT and computer skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and database management is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a plant producing radioactive materials.
  • Familiarity with safety programs related to hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the system administrator for the Maximo System, ensuring efficient maintenance operations.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system use for maintenance management.
  • Train plant personnel on effective data entry, work order filing, and reporting.
  • Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) using data captured in the CMMS.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to the CMMS and associated processes.
  • Provide quality service to internal and external customers by collaborating with auditors and validation teams.
  • Enter and update all pertinent information into the CMMS system, including PMs and equipment information.
  • Distribute and collect data related to PM and DM information, ensuring proper closure of items.
