About The Position

Ready to be the go-to for keeping cutting-edge lab equipment running? Imagine walking in, opening Megamation, and turning a tangled list of requests into a smooth, prioritized plan that maximizes uptime across a highly automated lens lab. That’s this role. What problems will you solve? How can we cut downtime? You’ll organize materials, draft clear work instructions, define safety needs, and optimize labor deployment. Do we have the right parts on hand? You’ll identify and procure components for planned and PM work, and issue purchase requests for parts and contract services. What comes first? You’ll balance planned, preventive, predictive, and project maintenance with production schedules for assigned areas. How much effort will it take? You’ll estimate labor for planned and PM work orders, then schedule work, including weekend/downtime windows. Who needs to align? You’ll lead weekly meetings with Operations, Technical, and Maintenance to prioritize and clear roadblocks. Are our PMs current? You’ll create, modify, and manage PMs in Megamation to reflect changing equipment needs. Which vendors do we need? You’ll coordinate contractor preventive maintenance on equipment. What else can we improve? You’ll take on special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
