Pay range is $27.00 - $35.00/hr Operates, maintains and programs Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), 3D Vision System, Single Axis Measuring device and various hand-tools to perform the following duties.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of CMM Operation/Programming
  • X,Y,Z axis Vectors
  • Cartesian coordinats
  • Polar coordinates
  • Part Set-ups
  • Alignments (3-2-1)
  • Datum Offset planes and lines
  • Translating origins
  • Blueprint Reading/Interpretation
  • Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education/training and experience

Responsibilities

  • Reads blueprints, GD&T symbology and apply principles to determine dimensions, tolerance specifications and proper setup for selected customer equipment.
  • Able to setup and orientate customer items on various measuring equipment in order to utilize fewest setups as possible for an efficient inspection process.
  • Repeats process to cover all sections of customer items
  • Compares recorded measurements to blueprint dimensions and tolerances and notifies specified persons of discrepancies.
  • Will perform these functions within a laboratory setting
  • Model the Company’s values to influence others to perform in an aligned manner.
  • Other duties as assigned
