Roush Yates MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS: Who We Are We are a precision CNC parts manufacturing organization with expertise in multi-axis machining of metal parts with complex geometries. We produce machined parts for the automotive, aerospace, military and industrial industries. Your day to day as a CMM Programmer You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality within the manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities will include programming and operating CMM systems, inspecting CNC-manufactured parts using CMM, and conducting thorough data reviews during inspections. You will ensure accurate reporting of inspection results, prepare In Process Inspection Reports, and contribute to QMS First Article Inspection plans. Collaboration with the QMS coordinator will be essential, as you assist in meeting quality management system requirements and aid in quoting quality functions for new projects. Your expertise in Calypso will guide you in achieving excellence while fostering a culture of innovation and integrity within our team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Certificate or Associates Degree in manufacturing or related technical field preferred.
  • 3+ years programming/operation of CMM (CALYPSO preferred).
  • Knowledge of common quality inspections methods and tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • In-depth understanding/training in GD&T.
  • Experience working in an AS9100 and/or ISO 13485 certified manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to prepare inspection plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Should be extremely organized.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must follow company established safety procedures and minimum vision standards, corrected or uncorrected, as follows: Snellen 14/18, 20/25 or better, Jaeger Type 2 at 14 inches, or Ortho-Rated 8.
  • Last, but not least, for ITAR compliance, all employees at this location must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
