About The Position

The CMM Programmer role is focused on product quality review associated with the manufacturing process, impacting departmental operations and responsible for planning and execution. The position allows for some autonomy but is primarily centered on executing activities within standard functional practices and procedures. While some judgment may be required, it is typically done with guidance. The role encompasses both quality assurance and quality control, including the assurance of products, services, and manufacturing processes, as well as conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, and product inspection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience with CMM programming.

  • Established project management skills.
  • PCDMIS programming experience.
  • Experience with Zeiss and Hexagon CMM machines.

  • Laser scanner experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of quality assurance and quality control.
  • Quality assurance of products, services, and manufacturing processes.
  • Conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, and product inspection.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
  • Using prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy and strategy.
  • Understanding key business drivers to accomplish work.
  • Integrating work with other teams and contributing to the area.
  • Proposing different solutions outside of set parameters with guidance.
  • Solving straightforward tasks using prior experience and on-the-job training.
  • Providing informal guidance to new team members.
