Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in dimensional inspection, and/or operating CMM or similar inspection equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in a STEM field.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T symbols.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • CMM programming experience using PCDMIS software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of dimensional inspection duties relating to overhaul and repair of engines or components.
  • Perform dimensional checks using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and work with a variety of precision measurement gages.
  • Work from general instructions and specifications such as drawings, service bulletins, repair requests, overhaul manuals, and other technical publications.
  • Interpret complex blueprint drawings and work with engineering when measuring complicated component configurations.
  • Use Geometric Dimensional Tolerance (PWA360) when measuring crucial fits and clearances.
  • Provide component dimensions, visual and dimensional inspection of a variety of engine components to determine serviceability.
  • Comply with all company work rules, follow safe work practices and procedures established to protect the environment.
