About The Position

You will be the CMM Inspector for our manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of mechanical parts and installations, from prototypes to production programs. What You Will Be Doing As the CMM Mechanical Inspector you will be responsible for performing a variety of inspection operations on mechanical parts, assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, and prototypes throughout the product lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: Perform a variety of inspection operations of mechanical parts and installations fabricated and/or assembled such as; completed systems, assemblies, tools, jigs, fixtures, prototypes, training devices and detail parts on manufacturing prototype, production development and/or production programs. Perform inspections utilizing a variety of techniques, inspection equipment and instruments to include visual, layout methods and various conventional types of measurement devices. Requirements

  • Applied knowledge of machine parts, tooling section or mechanical assembly inspection
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on a team
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Must be able to: Read and interpret Engineering drawings
  • Must be able to: Use precision measurement equipment
  • Must be able to: Use computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

  • Level II Penetrant Certified
