About The Position

CMDB Operations Lead Key Role: Oversee the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Define Configuration Items ( CIs ) , develop naming standards, manage relationships, and ensure high data quality. Lead strategy and governance initiatives, collaborate with IT teams, and support IT service management processes. Be hands-on with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery, IT asset management, and service mapping, and work cross functionally within Booz Allen’s IT organization. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizen ship is required .

Requirements

5+ years of experience with IT service management
3+ years of experience with CMDB management
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery
Experience with CSDM met hodology
Knowledge of ITIL best practices, including configuration management
Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in an IT or CS field
U.S. citizenship is required

Experience with data modeling, CI lifecycle management, and integrations
Knowledge of IT Operations Management ( ITOM ) and enterprise service management
Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
