About The Position

The CMDB Administrator at HUB International is responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures the accuracy and reliability of the CMDB, performing regular audits and collaborating with various teams to support effective IT service management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, statistics, mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant CMDB experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Automated Discovery tools preferred.
• Experience maintaining a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) preferred.
• Experience in administering and configuring the ServiceNow CMDB preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and processes (Configuration Management).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data integrity and synchronization with other IT systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement best practices for configuration management.
• Plan and lead projects to design and collect new data elements or refresh existing ones.
• Work with TechOps teams to align CMDB data with incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Perform regular audits and reconciliation activities to ensure CMDB data accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies within the CMDB.
• Proactively seek improvement opportunities for CMDB inventory accuracy.
• Develop and maintain documentation regarding CMDB policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and outputs related to change and configuration management.
