Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Graduate of an accredited MA program OR an LPN license in the state of MN.
6 months of recent relevant work experience in a clinical setting.
Experience with the insurance prior authorization process.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions.

Responsibilities

Manage prior authorization requests for a high volume of take-home, self administered medications (such as GLP1s).
Efficient use of of EPIC In Baskets and supporting software (Right fax, softphone,)
Communicating detailed information with both insurance companies and patients.
Managing a high volume of phone calls, both inbound and outbound.
