About The Position
Join Piedmont to advance your career in Pain Management. This full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) position is located in Martinez, GA. The role involves preparing patients to be seen in the clinic, assisting in the procedure suite, and performing other clinical duties as directed by a physician. The position is full-time, Monday - Thursday, with approximately half of the time assisting in the clinic and half of the time assisting in the procedure suite. Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program OR one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience (in lieu of formal education program)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization OR National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT
Responsibilities
- Providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
