About The Position

As an RN/CMA/LPN at The Iowa Clinic Internal Medicine Downtown, you will enjoy a fulfilling career with no night shifts. Your schedule will vary based on the physician you are assisting, with clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You will provide professional nursing services for patients across seven assigned Downtown Internal Medicine Physicians, adhering to established nursing practice standards and medical office procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' care needs, obtaining prior authorizations, rooming patients, taking vitals, and performing phlebotomy as needed. You will assist providers with patient triage, identify nursing diagnoses or problem lists, and formulate initial care plans based on assessment data. Spending quality time with patients to listen and understand their needs is essential, as is ensuring that all patients feel valued and cared for.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing services for patients assigned to Downtown Internal Medicine Physicians.
