About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Float position at Texas Health is a full-time role that requires flexibility in hours based on clinic needs. The work location is at 3801 William D Tate - Suite 840 Grapevine, TX 76051, with travel required between Grapevine, Flower Mound, and Coppell area clinics. The position typically operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (REQUIRED)
• 1 year Medical Assistant experience within the last three years (REQUIRED)
• CMA - Certified Medical Assistant upon hire (REQUIRED)

Nice To Haves

• NCT - Non-Certified Radiologic Technician training may be required upon hire (PREFERRED)
• ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider.
• Obtains and records vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications.
• Administers ordered medications and/or vaccines via various methods.
• May work in the front office as needed and perform other duties as assigned by practice manager or healthcare provider.
