Requirements

  • Certification through an accredited medical assistant program
  • 1+ years of healthcare experience with strong phlebotomy skills
  • 1+ years of experience using eClinicalWorks
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Excellent phone communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, ability to type 45+ wpm, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • High school degree or GED equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the physician and office manager in our outpatient clinic
  • Triaging patients and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Completing a variety of patient care services as directed, including drawing blood
  • Treating every patient respectfully and with dignity
  • Helping patients feel comfortable and doing your part in providing amazing patient care
