About The Position

The position involves providing Technical Writing, Configuration Management (CM), Data Management (DM), and/or Data Library support to the F/A-18 & EA-18G IPT. The role includes the development, validation, verification, production, Quality Assurance, distribution, and maintenance of assigned technical documents. Responsibilities also encompass planning, writing, editing, and coordinating technical documentation, assisting authors in the preparation and publication of documents, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • Associate degree plus 5 years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related experience.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Teachable, positive attitude, highly motivated, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with tact and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Current top secret or secret security clearance.
  • Practical experience with F/A-18 and EA-18G functionality.
  • Experience with system development lifecycle, from design to testing and validation.
  • Familiarization with Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work within small groups or Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, verify, produce, and maintain technical documents for the F/A-18 & EA-18G IPT.
  • Plan, write, edit, and coordinate technical documentation including engineering, research, test, and logistical support reports.
  • Establish procedures and formats for documentation and reporting functions.
  • Process and manage supporting documentation for programs.
  • Maintain a tracking system for review and approval of technical data.
  • Ensure that at least 90% of documents are current and accurate.
  • Maintain Program Data in Program Library and update Library Database.
  • Manage databases and coordinate Development Change Review Board for software changes.
  • Track requirements and enter test planning data into databases.
  • Assist in preparation of data to ensure adequacy for intended use.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $70,310 - $75,000
