Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Clutch Operator - Day Shift to join our Kings Mountain team. The rate range for this position is $20.59 - $26.21 per hour with a pay increase at 6 months and 1 year of employment. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 6:45 am - 3:15 pm. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. What you’ll do: In this function you will: • Assemble clutch components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies from specification sheets, drawings, and work instructions. • Be cross-trained and operate multiple assembly stations including working around fully automated and Co-Bot cells during a single shift. • Adhere to all safety and quality procedures, and company policies and guidelines. • Assist in on-the-job training for new employees. • Perform work in a manner which supports Eaton’s Quality systems (QS, 9000, TS 16949, CQI-9), and Environmental system (ISO 14000). • Inspect product for quality acceptance and perform quality checks. Work within quality and quantity standards. • Work a reasonable amount of overtime, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
