About The Position

Directs the management of nursing services and the supervision of the professional and ancillary nursing staff for a cluster of two or more correctional facilities. Interprets, implements, and monitors standards for health services in compliance with NCCHC standards and UTMB Correctional Managed Care systems policies and departmental procedures.

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
• Must possess and maintain a valid, current license approved by the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Master%27s degree in nursing or a related field with two years nursing supervisory experience.
• Bachelor%27s degree in nursing with three years of nursing supervisory experience.
• Associate degree or diploma in nursing with four years of nursing supervisory experience.
