Eliot is seeking a compassionate, skilled and creative Clubhouse Recovery and Wellness Coordinator to facilitate and guide a psychiatric rehabilitative day program. Eliot's Clubhouse is an accredited day program that provides adults with mental illness opportunities for employment, education, housing, health and wellness, socialization, and community supports. Grounded in the principles of psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery, the clubhouse operates as a member-driven program where individuals actively participate in all aspects of service delivery and are empowered to shape, evaluate, and improve program operations according to their needs and preferences. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and experienced leader with a strong background in psychosocial rehabilitation who is committed to empowering adults with mental illness through a member-driven, recovery-oriented and person-centered approach.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field, Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience working in rehabilitation or vocational counseling
  • Supervisory experience
  • Valid Massachusetts drivers license

Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff and members provide comprehensive and timely orientation to services.
  • Ensure that new members are assigned a primary staff advocate and meet with staff during orientation.
  • Ensure that Clubhouse services are coordinated and staff are able to provide both individual and group supports that are in the community and on-site.
  • Coordinate scheduling and services to ensure adequate supports and staffing for the members and overall service delivery.
  • Ensure that services focus on member preferences and interventions are developed to support member goals.
  • Ensure that staff and services are focused on independence and strength based in order to assist members in their goals.
  • Ensure that recovery services, vocational services and supports are infused in all aspects of care and intervention.
