About The Position

As a Clubhouse Landscaper at Fallen Oak, you will perform the day-to-day operations of the property and play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining a picturesque environment that enhances the overall appeal of our golf course landscaping. You will own the guest experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

Requirements

• Holds a valid driver's license.
• Capable of working in outdoor elements - various weather types & temperatures.
• Demonstrates 1+ years of prior relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Holds a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping maintenance as directed.
• Inspect work area to identify any potential safety hazards and ensure the landscape meets appearance standards.
• Properly use a variety of manual hand tools and equipment such as rakes, loppers, hand saws, pruning shears, shovels, hoes, fertilizer spreaders, pesticide sprayers, sod knives and hedge shears to detail manicured beds on Golf Course and Grounds.
• Drive/Operate company vehicles or specialized carts to travel between properties and transport materials and equipment, unload and inspect inventory as they are received.
• Plant, transplant, fertilize, water, prune, weed and apply chemicals to flower beds and plant areas; maintain annuals, turf, trees, and shrubs by exercising proper landscaping practices, and monitor plant nutrition by checking soil, fertilizer, moisture, and overall appearance.
• Ensure appropriate pest management and irrigation management practices.
• Assist on Golf Course Grounds during times of need.
• Operate specialized power and motorized equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers, light tractors, lawn mowers, lawn edgers, chainsaws, bobcat, turf aerators, roto-tillers and forklifts.
