The Clubhouse Attendant position at Arlington Lakes Golf Club and Nickol Knoll Golf Club puts you at the center of the action in a welcoming, customer-focused environment. You'll interact with golfers daily, assist with tee times and merchandise, and help create a positive first impression for every guest. Part-Time Wages ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Opens and closes the golf shop per the opening and closing checklists Assists in managing reservations and tee times using the appropriate reservation and point of sale software Informs Golf Course Rangers of any possible problem or disruptive groups Maintains the cleanliness of the clubhouse by wiping tables and chairs, cleaning and maintaining restrooms, and tidying up the Pro Shop, as needed Maintains the cleanliness of the patio area by performing custodial duties, including but not limited to, sweeping, wiping off tables, picking up trash, etc. Assists the Golf Course Ranger in informing patrons to leave the course when the lightning detection system is activated Monitors daily rounds paid and collects daily greens fees from patrons as applicable Answers the telephone and provides the requested information to patrons regarding the golf course Stocks the Pro Shop merchandise as needed Proactively and professionally participates in a pass on meeting during shift change with other staff. Closes out the cash register at the end of the shift and completes appropriate deposit paperwork Attends work on a regular basis Performs the job safely and in compliance with District policies, procedures, work and safety rules, and the employee handbook Maintains a clean and organized work environment Additional functions as assigned which may be considered essential This position must possess the following qualifications: High school student, high school graduate or E.D. Minimum age of 19 is required BASSET Certification and Food Handler License within 30 days of employment Or, any equivalent combination of education, experience and training SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS Standing for sustained periods while completing work Repetitive hand/arm movements such as when driving and retrieving golf carts Some bending, kneeling and reaching for items off the floor and on high shelves Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. in golf cart batteries, when needed.
