The Club Front Desk Concierge ensures a welcoming and professional experience for all members, guests, and staff. In addition to providing front desk and concierge services, this role manages key administrative functions and assists multiple departments in delivering seamless club operations. The Concierge also plays a vital role in maintaining the Club’s website and communications, supporting departmental booking systems, and ensuring accurate and current information is available.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, concierge, or front desk roles strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with website management platforms.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor reflecting Club standards.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • This position follows a set weekly schedule and availability for both scheduled shifts is required.
  • Wednesdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sundays: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

  • Operates the telephone switchboard; answers calls; transfers calls to appropriate extensions; takes messages for members and staff.
  • Greet members and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Provide schedules, event information, and other Club-related details to members and guests.
  • Maintain and distribute club information and materials for members.
  • Accept member event reservations and assist the Food & Beverage team in directing reservations to the respective host/hostess for Leonard’s or Hawk’s Landing.
  • Report unauthorized individuals in or around the Club facility.
  • Manage and maintain the Club’s website in collaboration with the Communications Manager: Set up new members on the website.
  • Assist members with logging in and troubleshooting issues.
  • Routinely review website pages to ensure all information is current and accurate.
  • Serve as an on-site resource for departmental booking modules (tee times, court reservations, youth services, cabanas, fitness classes).
  • Update and maintain the Club’s online calendar, coordinating with department heads and setting up online reservations for Club events.
  • Plan, create, and edit weekly email communications with the Communications Manager and relevant department heads.
  • Coordinate with website host to update and maintain additional modules.
  • Perform other website-related duties as assigned.
  • Perform general office work, including word processing, filing, and operating copy/fax machines.
  • Maintain accurate petty cash and operating fund balances.
  • Assist multiple departments with operational tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
