About The Position

The Club Enablement Lead is responsible for driving club efficiency and enhancing the member experience by leading the rollout of new tools, technologies, and processes. This role involves coordinating comprehensive onboarding for new associates, ensuring their successful integration into club operations and culture within their first 180 days, and facilitating orientation sessions aligned with Sam’s Club values. Key responsibilities include overseeing I-9 documentation, reinforcing training, maintaining expertise in club roles, compliance, and safety standards, and providing guidance to associates. The Lead fosters a collaborative, people-first environment to boost associate engagement and retention, champions change initiatives, and acts as a connector across teams to build trust. They support efforts to reduce turnover and promote career growth through coaching and mentorship, ensure club operations align with strategic goals, and monitor compliance with safety and operational protocols to enhance both member and associate experiences. The role also involves leading and participating in teams, developing and implementing business processes, and upholding company policies, ethics, and integrity, embodying values such as Respect for the Individual, Acting with Integrity, Serving Customers and Members, and Striving for Excellence.

Requirements

  • 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (for example, cash register)
  • 6 months customer service experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

  • Leads the rollout of new tools, technologies, and processes to improve club efficiency and member experience.
  • Coordinates onboarding efforts to ensure new associates adapt to club operations, culture, and expectations within their first 30, 60, 90, and 180 days.
  • Facilitates orientation sessions aligned with Sam’s Club values and operational goals.
  • Oversight of I-9 documentation and ensures compliance with onboarding protocols.
  • Reinforces training through daily routines and promotes continuous learning and operational consistency.
