About The Position

The Club Concierge at The Ritz-Carlton Washington D.C. is responsible for ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of guests in the club lounge. This role involves maintaining cleanliness, preparing and serving beverages, and anticipating guests' needs while adhering to the company's high standards of service.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in the club lounge.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar, bar furniture, tables, and other equipment.
• Prepare and serve hot, cold, and alcoholic beverages.
• Restock ice, glassware, and supplies as needed.
• Communicate restocking needs promptly.
• Wash dishes and kitchen utensils as necessary.
• Complete opening and closing tasks.
• Requisition necessary supplies from storage to the bar area.
• Secure liquor, beer, wine, refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Document relevant information in departmental records.
• Anticipate extra food needs and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
• Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating their service needs.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team goals.
• Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
