About The Position

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Club Concierges daily tasks where possible on any guest related item in the hotel and other miscellaneous tasks Ensure buffet is fully restocked for the following shift. Deliver flowers, newspapers, packages and other amenities to guest rooms on Club Floor. Assists Concierge with food and beverage requirements. Food orders, supplies and clean up. Retrieve packages from loading dock, log them in, arrange package room and deliver to guests on Club Floor. Leave messages concerning packages and other amenities on Club Floor. Run errands outside of the hotel to include but not limited to: postage stamps, theatre tickets, shoe repair, laundry, shopping, drugstore, etc. for Club Floors. Provide guests with comprehensive information about hotel services, places of interest, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours, and any other information of interest. Assist guests with, but not limited to, theatre/airline/tail tickets, transportation, and restaurant reservations and provide guests with information on outside facilities and services. Handle guests’ services such as mail, keys, postage, messages, and paging. Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments. Be aware and prepare for all in-house group meetings and VIP arrivals. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent plus some guest service or hospitality experience preferred. Some College and knowledge of locale preferred. Must speak fluent English. Must have a valid Smart Serve certificate. Other languages preferred. This job requires ability to perform the following: Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds Handling objects such as phone, computer keyboard Other: Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and third parties. Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing departmental records/logs, tagging bags, etc. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Work Area: Club Concierge Desk Hourly Wage: $26.85 The statements in this job description are intended to represent the key duties and level of work being performed. This position is classified as non-exempt (per the Fair Labor Standards Act) and is subject to overtime in accordance with Federal and State Regulations.

Requirements
