About The Position

CLS Coordinator is responsible for overseeing individualized services that support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to live safely, independently, and meaningfully in their own homes. This role ensures that services align with person-centered planning, meet regulatory requirements, and uphold the values of dignity, choice, and community integration. The CLS Coordinator provides direct oversight to staff, collaborates with families and service partners, and ensures that Members receive consistent, high-quality supports tailored to their unique needs. Provides onsite and remote assistance, support, and education to staff working with Members in the field. Provides technical support for DSPs and Life Skills Instructors. Assists the CLS Program Manager in ensuring all staff complete agency and program-required trainings. Assists program management team in authorization tracking and billing, timekeeping and attendance, review of progress notes and ISP objectives, upkeep of files and documentation. Maintains Member caseload as assigned. Pay Rate: $25.00

Requirements

  • An Associate’s degree in psychology, human services, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience may be substituted for education with the consent of the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond in English to questions from employees, family members, and funding agencies.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to follow through on a situation to its logical end.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to use good judgment and make sound decisions relating to the health and safety of the Members served.
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel, and ability to effectively use Member database and staff scheduling and timekeeping applications.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Access to a vehicle, proof of vehicular insurance, a valid California Driver’s License, and a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and supports the Community Living Services (CLS) vision and agency mission.
  • Assists with staff coordination, scheduling, coverage, and substitutes as needed.
  • Supports the CLS Program Manager with program operations, including transition to electronic files.
  • Ensures staff have required devices, system access, training, and IT support.
  • Maintains accurate, current Member and employee documentation in all required electronic systems.
  • Ensures compliance with documentation, EVV, timekeeping, attendance, and reporting deadlines; reviews and approves timesheets.
  • Collaborates with Members, families, and staff to develop, implement, and monitor person-centered ISPs and program curriculum.
  • Provides guidance, training, and ongoing support to new and existing staff.
  • Oversees satisfaction surveys and quality assurance activities.
  • Serves Members directly and provides support coverage when needed.
  • Maintains required certifications (First Aid/CPR).
  • Participates in meetings, trainings, on-call rotation, and maintains availability via agency cell phone.
  • Works a flexible schedule to meet program and Member needs.
  • Upholds professional, ethical standards and supports CLS team members; performs other duties as assigned.
