Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience developing solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Proven expertise in architecting modern, scalable, maintainable, resilient solutions with agility.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecFinOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Proficiency with core tools and languages such as Java, Python, React JS, AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift, Glue, RESTful APIs, SNS, and other AWS services.
  • Commitment to staying current with emerging technology trends.
  • Strong ability to navigate organizational structures and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and experience applying its principles.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS certifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster innovation, encourage diversity of thought, and integrate new ideas.
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Connect Cloud Contact Center platform is highly desirable.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies and Amazon Connect Contact Lens are significant advantages.
  • Knowledge/Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect Hercules cloud contact center solutions, establishing a clear vision and advancing architecture maturity within the contact center domain.
  • Collaborate with architecture peers, business partners, and product teams to develop aspirational architecture, spearhead innovation, and support production execution.
  • Identify opportunities for proof-of-concepts (POCs) to evolve the C3 solutions and lead their implementation.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of technology architecture, including application systems design, integration, web applications, and web services.
  • Stay informed on application development, infrastructure, and data domains.
  • Understand business applications, technology trends, and State Farm’s recommended architecture patterns to evaluate and deploy innovative IT solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, scripting support, and training, delegate tasks as appropriate.
  • Analyze solutions that drive business outcomes and guide technology selection and placement decisions, ensuring alignment with target-state architecture.
  • Establish feedback loops with business and technology partners to review and validate architecture decisions.
  • Apply comprehensive technical knowledge to ensure quality, integration, and governance across multiple application environments.
  • Understand the interconnection of applications and data across processes and platforms, and their impact on end users.
  • Manage multiple work stories simultaneously or focus intensively on complex assignments.
  • Exercise significant influence across multiple product suites or teams within the area of responsibility.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, shaping leadership decisions and guiding product team directions within your domain.

  • Potential starting salary range: $104,000.00 - $150,000.00
  • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
  • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 10% of base salary
