About The Position

US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. Responsibilities but not limited to: Designs and defines architectures for future-state IT capabilities and services Work with stakeholders to facilitate alignment of business strategies, operational processes, and IT strategies related to future-state architecture changes Leverage enterprise methodologies and DoW standards Utilize data to develop architecture models, visualizations, and analyses to clearly articulate the current and future needs Analyzes customer needs and provides guidance on industry trends and opportunities. Identifying and documenting architectural requirements supporting future Enterprise needs, including goals, approach, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and desired end state for each milestone Research and propose products, systems, and solutions that meet functional and technical requirements or recommendations Responsible for developing high level system design diagrams Evaluates analytically and systematically problems with workflows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective actions. Prepare assessments, point papers, briefings, and executive presentations to contribute architectural support documents for leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical
  • 15+ years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis
  • Must possess and maintain a US Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Must meet 8570.1 IAT Level 3 certification requirements
  • Zero Trust Technologies and Pillars
  • Micro-segmentation
  • ICAM/PKI such as PingDirectory, PingFederate, SailPoint
  • Software-defined perimeters
  • Encryption types such as Type1 and CSfC
  • Cisco and Juniper networking devices and protocols
  • Cisco and Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Intrusion detection systems (IDS)
  • Security information and event management (SIEM) solutions
  • Endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
  • Network Management, monitoring and scanning tools such as SolarWinds, ServiceNow, OpenNMS, Nessus, Splunk
  • NetApp Storage Systems
  • Virtualization such as VMware vCenter, VMware vSphere
  • Microsoft suite of OS, tools/application, and services.
