About The Position

Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer II to provide technical and systems support to our San Diego office and other locations. This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated and versatile IT professional to get hands-on with a variety of technologies while making a tangible impact on the organization’s infrastructure. This will be a hybrid position, based in San Diego. SALARY: $125,000.00- $150,000 annually Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions and integrations.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Advanced understanding and experience working within ITIL framework.
  • Advanced hands-on experience in with the following tools: Microsoft Azure, M365, Cisco Meraki, AI, unified communications, SaaS, IaaS, SIEM tools, PowerShell, legal case management platforms, document management systems, and advanced analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with team members and end-users.
  • Ability to travel to other office locations to provide on-site support, as needed.
  • Project management skills, including vendor coordination and team leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as AZ-900 or CMSS are a plus but not required.
  • Experience in a legal or law firm setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • At the direction of the CIO, develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, deploy and integrate cloud systems, including case management systems, data storage, document management, and advanced analytics.
  • Participate in all aspects of cloud systems solutions, including planning, requirements, testing, quality assurance and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures with current and future systems.
  • Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary
  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
  • Creating, documenting, and implementing strategies for improving IT processes and systems.
  • Occasionally travel to various office locations to support on-site infrastructure needs.
