Position Overview Reporting to the EVP of IT, the Cloud Systems Architect – Cloud ERP will lead the architecture, strategy, and optimization of CELSIUS®’s cloud-based ERP and financial systems ecosystem. This role is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud ERP solutions that align with enterprise strategy, financial operations, and long-term digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in cloud-based ERP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or similar SaaS ERP platforms), enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), systems integration, and financial systems design. This individual will serve as the technical authority for ERP architecture, integrations, data governance, and cloud best practices. Location: Based full-time at CELSIUS® Headquarters in Boca Raton, FL

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in ERP systems architecture, cloud systems design, or enterprise applications leadership.
  • Proven experience architecting and supporting cloud-based ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred; experience with Great Plains migration/modernization a plus).
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, including networking, compute, storage, security, and identity management.
  • Experience designing and managing integrations using APIs, middleware, and integration platforms (e.g., Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Power Platform, or similar).
  • Strong database expertise including Azure SQL, SQL Server, data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security architecture, IAM, role-based access control, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks (SOX required).
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog or similar platforms).
  • Knowledge of enterprise reporting and analytics, including financial reporting, GL, fixed assets, bank reconciliation, and P&L analysis.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and release management best practices.
  • Experience leading ERP upgrades, cloud migrations, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, architectural documentation, and solution design skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across IT, Finance, and executive leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with financial systems such as Esker, Blackline, or related SaaS solutions a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end architecture of CELSIUS®’s cloud ERP ecosystem, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with enterprise strategy.
  • Lead ERP modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy systems to cloud-based platforms where applicable.
  • Design and maintain ERP system architecture diagrams, integration maps, data flow models, and technical documentation.
  • Establish architectural standards, governance models, and best practices for ERP and financial systems.
  • Architect secure cloud environments in Microsoft Azure to support ERP and financial applications.
  • Implement identity and access management frameworks, role-based security models, and compliance controls (SOX, internal audit requirements).
  • Ensure system resiliency, disaster recovery, high availability, and performance optimization.
  • Oversee environment strategy (Dev/Test/Prod), deployment automation, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Design and oversee integrations between ERP and adjacent enterprise systems including banking platforms, procurement systems, reporting tools, data warehouses, and third-party SaaS applications.
  • Lead API strategy and middleware architecture for seamless data exchange.
  • Ensure data integrity, master data governance, and financial controls across integrated systems.
  • Partner with analytics teams to enable scalable reporting and business intelligence solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance to optimize ERP workflows including journal entries, expense management, fixed assets, reconciliations, and close processes.
  • Maintain system configurations including posting rules, validations, approval matrices, and automation workflows.
  • Provide architectural oversight for financial reporting solutions (D365, Power BI, etc.).
  • Investigate and resolve complex posting discrepancies or systemic issues impacting financial reporting.
  • Serve as technical lead for ERP-related projects, upgrades, and platform enhancements.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to enhance system performance and business capabilities.
  • Manage third-party vendors, implementation partners, and system integrators.
  • Identify architectural risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Establish monitoring frameworks and proactive system health management.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close through system readiness and performance assurance.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Lead ongoing evaluation of emerging cloud technologies to support enterprise growth.
