About The Position

Join our team as a Cloud System Administrator and play a key role in supporting a cutting-edge cloud platform built with Java and powered by leading open-source technologies—including Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo . You’ll help enable large-scale, data-intensive analytics on a secure, managed infrastructure used by mission-critical customers. As part of our Operations Team , you’ll ensure the stability and reliability of daily operations, deliver responsive customer support, and apply your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve complex issues. Requirements

  • Strong experience troubleshooting in Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop , and similar cloud-native or big-data technologies
  • Scripting skills in Python , Bash , or related languages
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and solve problems proactively
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift
  • 8 years of experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics preferred and may substitute for 3 years of experience.
  • DOD 8570 compliant (Security+ is preferred)
  • One of the following: AWS Certified Developer – Associate AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Elastic Certified Engineer
  • Active TS/SCI with current polygraph required.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain a cloud platform environment leveraging open-source technologies
  • Ensure day-to-day operational stability and performance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues across the stack
  • Provide Tier 1–3 support, including on-call rotations
  • Work with a diverse set of technologies based on customer needs
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled team to improve reliability, automation, and efficiency
