About The Position

Provide system support to a software development program. Provide set-up, configuration, and software installation for development, test, and production systems. Interface directly with development team as well as system end users.

Requirements

Minimum Five years’ experience with installation, maintenance, administration, and trouble shooting of LAN, WAN, computer hardware and software
Experience with Linux System administration to include RPM install/upgrade, starting/stopping/monitoring services, and familiarity with Kickstart procedures
Experience performing, and assisting with, equipment specification, setup, problem resolution, network support, etc., related to computer hardware and software; and providing assistance to users
Experience ensuring licensing agreements and system currency
Experience with Unix administration
Knowledge of performance tuning
Understanding of security hardening procedures and implementation
Experience scripting common SA functions
Experience with VMWare and configuring virtual machines
