About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Cloud System Administrator II to join our team! Specifically, we are looking for a candidate with extensive AWS experience, experience with Linux System administration, and more.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years’ experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum five years' experience with installation, maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, computer hardware, and software
  • Manage a Red Hat Linux environment, including RPM install/upgrade, starting/stopping/monitoring services, patch maintenance, and familiarity with Kickstart procedures
  • Perform Unix/Linux system administration, including OS-level services, system optimizations, performance tuning, and security hardening procedures
  • Troubleshoot Linux systems identifying hardware, software (OS and application level), and networking issues
  • Script common system administration functions to automate routine tasks
  • Configure and manage VMware virtual machines; coordinate activities with virtual server group as required
  • Ensure systems comply with enterprise licensing agreements and maintain required configuration profiles, including software updates and environment changes
  • Manage audit logs and system backups
  • Support multi-domain network environments, including network configuration and troubleshooting
  • Provide end user support and assist with system specifications and configuration
  • Provide weekly status reports on completed activities and ongoing projects
  • Assume additional duties and projects as needed
