About The Position

Own the opportunity as a Cloud Solutions Architect and help ensure the mission is never interrupted. Our work depends on a Solutions Architect joining our team to ensure our customers' services are hosted in the cloud, based on a deliberate decision process, which first considers application hosting in a brokered, multi-vendor, multi-cloud, multi-tenant FedRAMP certified commercial cloud computing environment, and chooses the migration target (multi-tenant, hybrid, private off-premise, etc.) based on cost-effectively meeting all mission requirements, including security, latency, workload variability, and the like.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science
• 10 years of related experience
• AWS Cloud Skills
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - professional
• Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Define target architecture in AWS
• Assess migration strategies
• Design networking, security, and resource deployment
• Develop a deep understanding of our IT infrastructure while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Streamline workflows and deliver inventive technical solutions that maximize efficiency.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate development progress, technical strategies, and costs.
• Drive process optimization across the organization with scalable, forward-thinking solutions.
• Continuously evaluate existing and emerging technologies to keep our systems mission-ready.

• The likely salary range for this position is $169,604 - $229,464. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
