Simply put, we connect people with moments that matter. We are seeking a highly technical and strategic Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Modern Workplace team. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, governance, and implementation of identity infrastructure and EUC services across the Google Ecosystem. Sabre is transitioning from the Microsoft ecosystem to Google, and this role will play a pivotal function in the migration. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills. Your ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and build relationships is critical to your success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years in cloud solutions architecture, infrastructure engineering, with hands-on experience in Google Workspace, Google Identity, Google Vault, Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft 365.
  • 5+ years in system administration, end-user computing, networking and cybersecurity within hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing strategic roadmaps to completion.
  • Expertise in implementing IAM infrastructure and controls in the Google platforms (e.g. MFA, IBAC, PIM).
  • Comprehensive understanding of certificate services, such as PKI, CA, and AD CS, and how they underpin secure authentication.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing ChromeOS, Chrome OS Flex and Cameyo application delivery solution.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Google Apps Scripts, PowerShell, KQL Query, or other.
  • Knowledgeable in compliance frameworks: SOC1/2, GDPR, NIST.
  • Ability to lead people and teams, drive discussions and own outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Highly sought after – experience migrating from a complete Microsoft ecosystem to Google (i.e. Workspace, Identity, Chromebooks, Google Meet).

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage secure, scalable IAM architecture across the Google Workspace, ChromeOS and Identity environments.
  • Lead conversations on Microsoft Azure/M365 migrations into Google services.
  • Lead efforts to modernize identity infrastructure, including re-platforming between cloud-native solutions.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap based on business demand, technical capabilities and security framework.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate identity-related risks, focusing on privileged access management and identity lifecycle controls.
  • Partner with security architects and peers to implement best practice initiatives within the Google Workspace environments.
  • Define and enforce governance policies, including RBAC, conditional access, and cost management.
  • Align cloud architecture standards across platforms and ensure adherence to compliance frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure project alignment with business goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance on complex identity requirements and integrated technology solutions.
  • Oversee solution quality, document implementations, and ensure delivery excellence through thorough troubleshooting and incident resolution.
  • Act as a team mentor, leader, and knowledge source for colleagues.
