About The Position

ERT is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Duties include executing cloud security solutions across lifecycle strategy, design, implementation and operations, providing domain expertise in both public and private cloud and enterprise technology, developing and managing Information Systems security, including data protection and software development, and analyzing information security systems and applications to recommend and develop security measures to protect information against unauthorized modification or loss.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in designing, implementing, and delivering security for cloud native, distributed computing and architectural solutions
• Experience with NIST security controls and implementation in federal systems, familiarity with CSAM, NOAA security processes
• Experience working with AWS security, identity, and compliance services (IAM, Resource Access Manager, Key Management Service, Security Hub, SSO, and other)
• Experience working with AWS management and governance products (AWS Organizations, CloudWatch, Service Catalog, Control Tower and other)
• Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident and able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to access applicable government facilities/systems

Nice To Haves

• MS in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
