Our Cyber Security Services team is looking for a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to safeguard our cloud infrastructure. The role is critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our systems and data across multiple cloud environments. The individual should have deep expertise in cloud computing, cloud security platforms, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.

Requirements

  • Experience with one or more of the following cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure or OCI.
  • 8+ years of Information Security Engineering, Architecture, or other relevant experience.
  • Strong scripting skills preferably with Python and PowerShell.
  • Experience with at least 5 of the following technologies: Firewall configuration, IDS/IPS, DLP, Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, File Integrity Monitoring, OS Hardening (Windows/Linux), Web Application Firewall, Cloud Configuration Management/Assessment, APIs.
  • Experience and knowledge of security/access control technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory, ADFS, SAML, SLDAP.
  • Experience implementing security controls for hybrid & multi-cloud environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of information security frameworks and compliance requirements such as ISO27001, PCI and NIST.
  • Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides Security Expertise Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, OCI)
  • Collaborate with Threat & Vulnerability Management team to monitor cloud infrastructure for vulnerabilities, threats, and misconfigurations.
  • Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipeline.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST)
  • Define and review security requirements for enterprise projects.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud security threats and technologies.
  • Maintain, configure, and administer computer systems, tools, and servers with security technologies.
  • Identify and draft requirements for use in the selection for new or replacement solutions.
  • Improves efficiency of security functions, automates work processes and works collaboratively with IT operational personnel to accomplish a balance of business and security objectives
  • Gather information and collaborate with IT and non-IT staff to assess and solve security issues for networks, servers and applications.
  • Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein.
  • Provide support to the Security Operations and Incident Response Teams.
  • Assist with security mitigation and remediation efforts as needed.
  • Consults and interfaces with network and server administrators, desktop support staff, IT staff, developers, and non-IT departments on security issues and requirements.
