Our work depends on a Cloud Engineer, SME joining our team as a member of the client’s Cloud (Security) Engineering Team, specializing in providing guidance and support to the client’s Cyber and Cloud technology program(s). HOW A CLOUD ENGINEER, SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACT You will consult with customers/clients regarding the most effective methods of securely configuring new and existing Cloud services (across multiple Cloud vendors) in the customers environment. In addition, you will plan, prepare, and execute tests against Cloud services/technologies used to secure systems and reduce cyber risk. You will coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and clarify specifications, requirements, and performance measures, leveraging your engineering expertise to document and codify use cases for mission partners and collaborate with service providers to ensure solutions meet the operational needs. The Cloud Engineer, SME, should have proven experience communicating effectively with a variety of business partners and customers and have a demonstrated capacity to develop effective interpersonal relationships; strong analytic and organization skills; self-starting skills; the ability to work effectively and independently, with little direction; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
