About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our team in Chicago, IL. This role will play a key part in designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in cloud security, compliance, risk management, and hands-on experience with industry-leading security tools.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT security, with a focus on cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Wiz, CSPM solutions, Aqua Security, or SentinelOne.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Experience architecting and implementing secure solutions in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Expertise in cloud security and governance tools and best practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, DevSecOps practices, and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Chicago, IL.

Nice To Haves

• Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or FedRAMP.
• Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and security automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect secure cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
• Implement and manage cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools such as Wiz, Aqua Security, SentinelOne, or similar.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to integrate security best practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Evaluate, select, and deploy cloud security and governance tools.
• Provide expert guidance on threat modeling, risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response in cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, policies, and standards.
• Lead cloud security reviews and assessments, and provide recommendations for remediation and improvement.
