About The Position

The Cloud Sales Representative for Greenfield ISV at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for driving new business acquisition in the SMB ISV sector. This role involves engaging with C-level decision makers, developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies, and managing the full enterprise sales cycle. The representative will leverage their technical and business acumen to build relationships and become a trusted advisor to clients, ultimately achieving revenue quotas and expanding service consumption within existing accounts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quota carrying sales experience in B2B environments.
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
  • Technical B2B sales experience, ideally in a solution-sales/technology-related environment.
  • Proven excellence in a consultative/solution selling environment.
  • Strong bias for action and focus on customer needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving all output goals including annual revenue quota and number of new customers.
  • Driving net new business via customer acquisition through outbound campaigns and qualifying inbound opportunities.
  • Expanding services breadth and consumption within the existing customer base through account planning.
  • Understanding the technology footprint and challenges of customers.
  • Accurately tracking activity and forecasting pipeline and sales targets in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Managing full enterprise sales cycles including prospecting, demos, and closing deals.
  • Building and managing cross-functional internal teams to meet customer needs.
  • Leveraging regional consulting and technology partner ecosystem to acquire new customers.
  • Innovating new ways to help Greenfield customers adopt the cloud.
