About The Position

Our 100% remote agile development team is looking for a Project Manager to help us deliver top-quality IT Modernization for our federal government customer. You will work directly with our government customers and with other GDIT developers and business analysts to create advanced software tools tailored to specific applications. You'll support the team in applying new approaches, principles, methods, techniques and tools compatible with the environment within the agency. You'll be a creative problem-solver, and contribute to strategies for a modern integrated IT environment. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT The Project Manager requires working knowledge of project management principles with a strong aptitude for supporting high performing teams managing three cloud environments, AWS, GCP, and Azure. The role requires coordination and collaboration with the agencies customers through strong communication, troubleshooting, analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Responsibilities include developing technical project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), reports, and ensuring successful completion of project deliverables. The candidate will lead scrum meetings, manage project progress across cross functional teams, interact with other contractors and agency stakeholders, and ensure quality assurance of project outputs. Additionally, the candidate will help manage standard operating procedures while seeking continuous improvement in organizational processes and developing strategies for future work. The Project/Task Manager must have: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Experience: 6+ years of related experience Technical skills: project planning, generating cost estimates, agile methodologies, Rally, risk management, quality assurance Security clearance level: must be able to obtain Public Trust US citizenship required Candidates with previous experience working with the agency or on a federal government IT project are strongly desired. The likely salary range for this position is $96,034 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
