About The Position

Cloud Platform Lead The Opportunity : We are seeking a Cloud Platform Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership for cloud platform operations, application deployments, and delivery process improvement. This role is responsible for AWS based environments, CI / CD pipelines, containerized workloads, backup and disa ster recovery planning, load balancing, application troubleshooting, and overall platform reliability and scalability. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with excellent communication skills who can gather requirements, facilitate discussions, solve operational problems, and support reliable, secure, and scalable cloud delivery across multiple applications. What You'll Work On: Lead and mentor engineers by providing technical guidance, support, and direction. Design, maintain, and improve cloud platform services hosted in AWS. Build, manage, and optimize CI / CD pipelines for application delivery and operational efficiency. Deploy, support, and troubleshoot applications across multiple environments. Manage and improve containerized workloads using modern containerization platforms and tooling. Facilitate discussions across technical and business teams. Develop and maintain disa ster recovery plans, backup strategies, and platform resiliency procedures. Implement and support load balancing, traffic management, and high-availability platform patterns. Investigate and resolve platform, deployment, and application issues across development, test, and production environments. Participate in Agile events, including scrums, planning sessions, and technical reviews. Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks. Follow cloud and application security best practices in platform design, deployment, and operations. Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, maintainability, and release processes. Requirements

2+ years of experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, or serving in a technical leadership capacity
Experience with AWS, including core cloud infrastructure, deployment patterns, and operational support
Experience with containerization, including technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS
Experience building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines
Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud-hosted environments
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, site reliability, or systems engineering roles, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, site reliability, or systems engineering roles
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Nice To Haves

Experience leading cloud platform or operational support functions in production environments
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with orchestration platforms and distributed application environments
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms
Experience supporting multiple applications or shared platform services
Experience with networking, DNS, TLS / certificates, IAM, secrets management, and cloud security best practices
Experience creating operational standards, support models, and platform governance processes
Experience working in regulated, security-conscious, or high-availability environments
