About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
5 years of experience
Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree, demonstrating three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college

Demonstrates extensive ability to provide end-to-end delivery leadership and technical direction for Google Cloud Platform–based solutions and cloud migration initiatives, including managing delivery across multiple parallel GCP workstreams (e.g., six to seven concurrent workstreams).
Demonstrates the ability to manage execution risk, technical dependencies, and platform stability while making informed technical decisions, evaluating trade-offs, and driving delivery outcomes in collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrates extensive ability to design, build, and operate GCP Landing Zone architectures, including the use of organizational folders, projects, shared virtual private clouds, and identity and access management controls.
Demonstrates the ability to design and support tenant-as-a-service capabilities that enable secure, standardized, and self-service project and environment provisioning for engineering teams.
Demonstrates extensive ability to lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives within GCP environments, including defining and applying migration patterns such as rehosting, replatforming, and cloud-native refactoring using managed cloud services.
Demonstrates the ability to manage migration sequencing, dependency planning, and operational readiness to support stable and scalable production environments.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of GCP architecture and hands-on technical execution across services such as projects and organizational structures, identity and access management, Kubernetes platforms, serverless application services, managed relational databases, and observability tooling.
Demonstrates the ability to design, implement, and validate architecture decisions through hands-on technical contribution and technical review.
Demonstrates extensive ability to architect, operate, and evolve Kubernetes-first container platforms using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) as the primary compute layer, including cluster design, advanced networking, traffic management, autoscaling strategies, and security controls.
Demonstrates extensive ability to design, build, and evolve internal developer platforms that integrate Kubernetes platforms, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code, security controls, and service ownership models.
Demonstrates the ability to design and implement workflow automation solutions that support project provisioning, environment lifecycle management, deployment orchestration, and platform automation.
Demonstrates extensive ability to design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, including GitOps-based workflows that support both application and infrastructure delivery.
Demonstrates the ability to define standardized deployment paths that improve consistency, reliability, and developer experience across teams.
Demonstrates extensive ability to develop and govern infrastructure as code solutions using tools such as Terraform, including the creation and maintenance of reusable modules.
Demonstrates the ability to enforce infrastructure standards and review code changes to ensure quality, correctness, and adherence to established governance requirements.
Demonstrates extensive ability to contribute as a hands-on engineer by developing automation, platform services, and reference implementations using programming languages such as Python and Go.
